For more than a century, the National Civic League has worked to make democracy more inclusive, equitable, and effective. This partner portfolio backs NCL initiatives that meet people where they are — in jails, at community tables, in local publications, and inside the institutions that shape civic life. From ensuring incarcerated people can exercise the right to vote to convening civic assemblies, training community foundations, and publishing the National Civic Review, these initiatives help communities practice democracy in tangible, everyday ways.
